Clothbox is a Toolset I use to speed up the Cloth and Hair simulation process.

As a CFX artist you want to focus on all the essentials tools to quickly create a good setup, this is where this script for maya could be usefull :

All the main features of CFX creation are reachable in one click
Import, export and delete your nCache and Alembic files easily
Every nucleus ncloth ncolliders and nconstraints of your scene are filtered and ordered by categories, you just have to click on refresh all scene button now and then.

The installation process

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\maya\<yourversion>\scripts

So it will look like this :

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\maya\2020\scripts\ClothboxIcons

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\maya\2020\scripts\ClothboxIcons\Clothbox.pyc

- Then call the script in Maya with the following python command line :

from Clothbox import *

ClothboxInit().ClothboxUi()

(you can copy these lines to your shelf to create a shortcut and add the Clothbox_icon.png as an icon)

Clothbox has been tested from Maya 2017 to maya 2024 on windows and mac.
It may work for linux but it has not been tested for this OS.
